A simple journal that’s actually helping me
I’ve been using this journal for a little while now, and so far I really like it. The layout is clean, easy to follow, and doesn’t feel overwhelming like some habit trackers do. It gives me enough structure to stay accountable but still leaves room for reflection, which I appreciate.I already feel more aware of the habits I want to change, and writing things down each day makes it easier to stay consistent. It’s one of the first tools that actually feels doable long-term, and I’m excited to see where I am after the full 12 weeks. This journal really is a little boost of motivation!

    Great Tool!
I would say that it is more responding to daily prompts rather than a true workbook or free writing journal . I was trying to restart journaling since neglecting the task 17 years ago. It has totally gotten me back into the habit and holds me accountable. not for everyone- IMO probably best for those who are just starting journaling or picking up the old habit. It is also a book you can buy time and again as you continue to learn and grow. worth the purchase and reasonable price!

    Great potential
I love this book I love what it stands for it seems to be really organized but I can’t get past the first page. To get things started you have to write down your purpose in life guess I better get another book for that

    habit-building journal
This Easy Habits Journal promotes building and keeping habits over a 12-week period. This journal is broken down into an intro section that details the breakdown between good and bad habits, how to make habits stick, and how to use the journal. The journal section – the largest section – is broken down into daily pages, weekly pages, and 28-day check-ins every 28 days. The daily pages track the date, gratitude, today’s habit goals, habit motivation check on a scale of 1-5, mood emoji, a reflection on what influenced habits that day, and daily habit check in where you check off habits you are focusing on that stuck that day.The weekly check-in pages are for reflecting on the habit goals of the week – what went well and did not, influence, modifications for the next week, advantages, and next week’s habit goals. The 28-day check-ins is where you break down the habit goals for the period, how often habits were performed vs now, progress, what went well and did not, influence, modifications, and next habit goals. This is a good guided journal that is habit-focused.

More journal than habit help. Kind of ironic, you need to get in the habit of using it…
This is essentially a journal versus really being a habit fixer. It’s kind of funny to me that in order to really use this for getting into better habits and tracking progress, I need to get in the habit of using it each day as a planner and game plan tool. It’s really nothing too detailed that I couldn’t do in a regular lined notebook if I were feeling motivated, it’s just that this sets it up in a book format that I can flip to a page and make notes so long as I’m in the habit. There’s not a ton of tips in the book, or a lot of things that switch up. It basically asks the same questions on what my goals are and my habits as I move along. It’s set up for 12 weeks, so it’s three segments of 28 days. It’s basically a progress tracker for the already self motivated and there isn’t much in it to actually motivate you to change. Habits need to really be ingrained for 90 days to get them to true habit status, and even after that it’s so easy to slip. This is an okay method if you’re into journaling. I have been writing in it, but on work days I find it cumbersome to really sit and write up what I’m thinking and doing with goals such as getting in the habit of loading the dishwasher early and unloading it every evening. Or getting in the habit of folding the laundry each day versus letting it hang out in the basket until I’m motivated or off work. Something I do like is writing about my emotions for the day. I’ve noticed that as I move out of winter and into true Spring, I seem to be less dramatic and depressed, but of course it could be feeling better about the writing process, too. I’d be interested in how winter and seasonal affective issues can create failures in building habits.

    Functional journal for habits
This book is structured as a 12 week journal for tracking your habits. The book opens with a chapter on the background of habits and why they are important. The next chapter helps to lay out how to use the journal to get the most out of it. The rest of the book (the bulk of the pages) consists of daily and weekly check-ins for actively tracking habits over the course of 12 full weeks. This book is useful, but you will definitely have to put in the work each day to get the most out of it.

Organized Way to Manage New Year’s Resolutions
I am happy to start off the new year with this very well-managed approach to creating better habits. While this book has many great tips for creating “SMART” goals and habits that fit your values, it is mostly a journal for tracking your fulfillment of the new habits. This is a write-in workbook, with pages for twelve weeks of tracking your behaviors on a daily and monthly level. Ideally, Dr. Finch writes, after twelve weeks, your tracked behaviors will become habits, and part of your daily life. I’m just starting with the journal this week, in January, and I am going to enjoy having a way to monitor and look back on my progress. Less important to the intention of the book, but still important to me: the pages are printed on fine-quality, thick, white paper, that holds up well to ink pens. This is a well-made book, and a pleasure in which to write, too.
