Amazing for sleep and pain relief! Great for Spoonies!
I have a lot of chronic issues surrounding pain, fatigue, and inflammation. (Ehlers-Danlos, Fibromyalgia, Migraines, Arthritis). I was skeptical of this but willing to try this instead of another medication change. The first 3-4 mins myself (and my family/friends who tried it) end up rapidly breathing, stiffening up, and feeling like this is a bad idea, lol. I won’t lie; the first few mins (less than 5) hurt pretty bad. I have to be listening to something or watching something to keep my mind off of the discomfort and work on relaxing INTO the spikes. Then suddenly the pain stops, it gets much more comfortable, and I’ve fallen asleep while on it! (So has my family who’ve tried it). It really works on those “trigger spots”. Right now I can do 20-25 mins on it, and then I take a warm shower and go to bed. I am sleeping through the night or only waking up once now (instead of waking up 5+ times due to pain). I’m getting less muscle cramps in my neck and back since I started using it. I won’t lie- the beginning hurts and getting OFF the spikes hurts after you’ve been on it for awhile. But the consistent results I’m getting is worth it. Came in a nice draw-string bag with a carrying strap. Also came with a very nice, heavy-duty hot/cold pack. I also want to clarify that I bought this myself with my own money; I was not given this or reimbursed in any way. I was not asked to make a review, but I wanted to because I have been genuinely satisfied with my purchase. I hope this helps someone out there who may be on the fence of purchasing.

Good Product
I ordered this product more out of curiosity than anything else. I am 68 years old and have minor age-related back, shoulder and neck issues. I do yoga several times a week and wondered if this would help. I waited several weeks before submitting a review.The product is well made and works well. Since I have shoulder and neck issues I like that it came with a neck pillow so that I can work on that area.It takes a little getting used to at first, but I do like using it. I try to use it for 20 minutes once a day, often as the cool down after my yoga. I find it works best with direct skin contact. At first it is uncomfortable but it does not take long to adjust to it. I ask my Amazon dot to play relaxing spa music and to set a timer for 20 minutes. I find it to be relaxing.I am still not sure it it helps or not. I am sleeping longer at night without waking up which may be due to feeling better from use of the mat. I recently bought a contoured pillow to help with my neck so I am not sure where the credit is due. Perhaps a combination of both.If you are at all interested in trying this type of mat, this is a good product. The price is good and it is well made.

I believe this was a good purchase.. I finally got to where i can use it bare skin( I am sensitive and i had to work myself up to it) It felt really good, i almost fell asleep.. I recommend using it on the bed as opposed to the floor. The 4 stars is because of the pillow.. I found i couldnt use it as it didnt hit the right spots on my neck and base of my skull, the foam is kind of firm. To remedy that I pulled the foam out and cut a slight indent with a knife to lay my neck in.. It worked perfectly… I wanted to post a fair warning with the handling of the mat.. THE SPIKES ARE VERY SHARP, I cut my fingers as i accidently slid them across the mat. When lying on and coming off the mat, you must do it methodically or you can cut yourself.. Its an awesome Mat and a great idea for pain relief.. Highly recommend.. Although I would like to suggest the slight modification that i did to the pillow to the manufacturers, I feel the pillow would be more useful and more comfortable..

It takes sone getting used to….
I bought this product since I’ve had a bit of a neck problem for years. I’m always looking for something that will help me with neck pain and tension. The first day I wasn’t sure about it but the second and third days I think I felt a definite improvement in my neck’s flexibility. I’m going to keep at it hoping for more improvement with each use.

I have had a bad neck due to a childhood injury and car accident, caused horrible migraines, headache, and tightness. I’ve tried doctors and massage therapy but nothing ever lasted. After getting to the point of taking a pain reliever daily I new I needed to try something else. This is amazing. First few minutes are a doozy but I’ve never felt so relaxed and energized at the same time. My pain is substantially better. I wish I had tried this years ago. I put on some headphones with 8d audio and drift off for 30 minutes of bliss. Even my teenager will use it and fall asleep
