Compared to Bed of Nails
Compared to my Bed of Nails which I have literally worn out, I do like this mat. Here are the key differences:- Firmer inside than Bed of Nails (BON) which is a soft foam – I prefer softer, but this is fine- Smaller acupressure buttons than BON – does not seem to make a difference- Sharper, more pointy, acupressure buttons than BON – good for getting the “tingly” benefit in less time, but not as good as BON if you want to lay on it for long periods like falling asleep- Material feels a little rough, but has an “earthy” vibe so I really like this. BON has softer “sheet” feel. – Both are good to me and this material will likely soften over time.- Less money! – Always good.- GREAT for gifting – the bag and pillow this comes with is adorable and would make a really cool gift.Overall, this has excellent value and while I intended to REPLACE my BON with this, I decided to keep them both because to me the BON is better for long term acupressure and this one is better for a shorter meditation because the needles on this are really sharp. It’s a fine balance with these, you want them sharp, but not so much that you need too many layers to negate the benefits.I give it 5 stars as the people who designed this put a TON of thought into it and really made it a good price and value. (BONs pricing has gone up quite a bit and their product is exactly the same as it was years ago.)

I use it for severe lower back pain. Not only does it relieve my pain , but it relaxes me. I even fell asleep on it. Great product.

Perfect travel case
This mat is so good – I’ve been using it before bed and notice a difference in my sleep. The best part is it comes with the perfect bag to carry everything in so I can take it with me or just store the mat easily. Really great acupuncture mat love the longer length! Pillow is good but not super sturdy – I usually add a another small pillow under it to help when applying to my neck.

After seeing ads for mats like this, I bought one on recommendation from a bodyworker friends who’s opinion i completely trust in such matters, and i chose this one specifically because of the materials and price. I am not disappointed. I use it for fifteen minutes or so at night and i sleep so much better; i can totally feel a difference when i forget to.I 100% recommend
