Easy to use and read and appears accurate
This appears accurate based on my particular medical status. It is easy to use with clear instructions on taking the test and reading the test.

Easy to test
The test is really easy to do, and the instructions are clear. You wait 10 minutes to read, which is about the time I’ve seen on other tests (I’ve had a brand that was 8 minutes and another that was 15 minutes). The color scale does give you a more detailed reading, but if you’re like me and indecisive between two very similar colors it may be confusing. I tried it alongside one of my other tests and the results were very close.

Great bargain!
These FSH test strips are really convenient for at-home tracking. I like that they give semi-quantitative results, which feels more precise than standard menopause tests. Using them is simple… just dip, wait, and read… and the results come in about 10 minutes, which is nice for privacy and ease. They’ve been helpful for spotting trends in my hormone levels over time, especially while managing irregular cycles. The only small downside is that interpreting borderline results can feel a little tricky without a doctor’s guidance, but overall, it’s a solid kit for personal tracking.

FSH test strips
Very easy to use, just urinate in a cup and dip the test strip in for 10 seconds. I got results that I feel were spot on for me. Note that a cup is not included, but if you don’t have one I think that dipping the strip in the urine stream would probably be fairly accurate as well, provided it was for 10 seconds.

Easy to test but tough to read
The “Hormonelife 6Pack FSH Test Strip for Women Menopause Test Strips at Home Ovarian Reserve & Hormone Balance Test” is a decent kit but it has me confused a bit. The tests are easy to perform. Collect urine in a cup and then dip the stick into it and wait 10 minutes. The first issue is the color coding which goes from light purple to dark purple which is tough to distinguish between the shades. My wife thought she was in menopause but the test showed “low” which has triggered some concerns in her and is scheduling a doctor visit to check them out. So it is making us a bit skeptic.

Good place to start
These 6Pack FSH Test Strips have been easy to use and seem accurate. I’ve used 3 strips so far, and each have come up with the exact same FSH percentage. As others have said, the set doesn’t come with a cup, but I don’t see anywhere in the instructions that you need to only use a cup. So, I’ve used the strips while using the rest room and used a timer to make sure the strips remained in the stream for 10-15 seconds. The instructions are small but readable but remember:•Use the first 3 days your on your period.•Use first thing in the morning.•Lay strip on flat surface with a that isn’t absorbent, so the pee doesn’t get sucked into something else and causes inaccuracy.Again, these strips seem accurate based on their consistency but only your doctor can confirm. I’m in perimenopause, which was NEVER discussed with me or around me by family and friends, so I’m on a learning journey. Talk with your family, friends, and colleagues about this to help make perimenopause and menopause less taboo and scary. Ultimately talk to your doctor about testing, symptoms or HRT. If your doctor ignores you or dismisses your symptoms, FIND ANOTHER ONE who will listen or understands. You’re not crazy and need to be your own advocate.

Life savers
I can’t say enough about menopause sticks — they really work. As a woman entering my mid-40s, I was starting to feel all the classic signs of perimenopause, and these sticks have been an absolute lifesaver. They help me feel refreshed and in control when those sudden hot flashes or night sweats hit. It’s amazing how something so simple can make such a huge difference in daily life. Honestly, I don’t know how I would have managed without them. For any woman navigating this stage of life, these are an absolute must-have.

Low cost option for DIY FSH tracking
These strips measure the body’s production of FSH, which you are supposed to measure on Days 3–5 of a menstrual period. There are six strips included in the package, so this will provide results for 2 months worth of testing. At less than $2 a test, these are quite the steal. The instructions are simple, and the results are easy to read. I used these strips to monitor my body’s FSH, as I am at the age where I am considering HRT with my doctor.
