Helped with back pain and restless legs
Surprisingly, this helped alleviate some back pain I had been waking up within the mornings. Very comfortable. Helps also to alleviate restless leg for me. Would purchase again and would recommend. No weird smell out of the packaging, even distribution of weight, no rips, tears or poor seams. Great product.

Wonderful… Still, after 9-months
I think most adults probably have an adjustment period compared to most kids… I am officially a big weighted blanket fan!This is my first weighted blanket and have had it 9-months at this time. I bought a 20lb weight and it’s been wonderdful… I just wish I would have gotten a heavier one. The weight distribution has been good and the blanket has held up just like new even with daily use. It’s not specially soft nor is it rough or bothersome texture wise, at least for me. And, it has gotten softer and more comfortable with regular use.For the price this is a great first weighted blanket to try to see how you like it.At first, probably for the first few months, especially the first month, I did get hot and had to stick a leg out or turn down the room temperature.I have also adjusted to and gotten use to the weight and it’s a relief to get under instead of a distraction or weird new sensation.Actually, I take back wishing I had initially gotten a heavier blanket; I think getting use to the new experience/sensation and having time for my brain and body to acclimate over the past several months was needed, before deciding I wanted to go heavier.I bought a queen size blanket, for only myself, and have a king size bed– I’m 5’9″ and over 200lbs, and the size is perfect for sleeping.It’s important to realize a 20lb throw size will feel heavier than a twin/queen/king size blanket. I loved the weight of a friend’s 20lb throw I tried before taking the plunge to buy a weighted blanket for myself. I was initially disappointed the weight on me felt less, but ended up being a good thing to get use to the experience.Lastly, my bedding, as an adult, has always consisted of a bottom sheet(no top sheet), a blanket (layed flat and not tucked in), and a comforter. I currently have a lighter comforter on my bed, and only on cooler nights do I actually pull the comforter over me. I cannot sleep if I’m hot, and my usual nighttime room temp is 68-degrees celsius.Folks may/probably will need to experiment with your bedding, room temp, and/or pj’s overtime as you acclimate to the additional weight. I no longer overheat and feel comfortable all night….. “Thumbs-up” on this specific 60×80 20lb blanket, especially for the price, especially as for first-time weighted blanket.

Don’t get married get a Weighted blanket!!!!!
This review is mostly focused on the idea of a weighted blanket. In the 3 days we have had the blanket it seems nice and well made. It is soft and overall of “apparent good quality.” If the blanket somehow explodes and burns down the house or something crazy we will update our review, but from here on out it is focused on the concept of a weighted blanket.We bought the 15 lb version for adults 130-160 lbs. The Wife is 5’2″ and 100 lbs and is VERY claustrophobic, she didn’t want to try it. Our bed cost more than my car and she still tossed and turned constantly. The idea of a weighted blanket scared her and the price made me cautious to try it. She normally would sleep best in a state of constant physical contact. She doesn’t have any other anxiety or other social issues, just constantly moving around while “asleep.”The blanket doesn’t feel heavy when you are laying down, but is somewhat heavy to move around. She keeps the blanket 2/3 of the way up her body and leaves her arms free to avoid feeling trapped. Since she only kept 2/3 on her body, it also might make sense that it was designed for a heavier person than she is. She was politely cautious about trying it. 3 nights in the verdict is very clear, “Best sleep of her life.” We have tried multiple sleep aids, nothing has ever gotten a better review than “It helped, but didn’t fix my problem.”As the husband, one of my primary house duties was to “snuggle” her from the moment she was tired, to the moment she woke up. I have been completely replaced in this job role. If she buys a robot that can do the dishes and take out the trash, I might find myself on the curb as well.Pro’s: 100% delivered on the better sleep promise.Wish we had tried this years ago.Compared to so many other things we tried that didn’t deliver 1/3 of the results this “expensive” blanket is actually one of the cheapest “sleep aids” we have tried.Cons: Probably not a great idea to put in the washing machine often, so you need a Duvet. Buy one made for weighted blankets so it can be tied down inside the duvet cover properly.Probably need to be washed all by itself.It’s hard for a small person to move without it dragging everywhere.

I love this blanket! not only was it a great price, but the fabric is nice and soft ( not really need a cover but ill probably buy one anyways). It also has a variety of different weights and I am 140lbs, I probably would buy a heavier one next time for bed, this one is good for the couch or lounging. Highly recommend for people with chronic pain and anxiety!

Purchased for my husband who likes a weighted feel when sleeping. This was better than ordering a heavier duvet because he can easily use wrapped around him when sat in recliner. He has health problems so rest is important and he absolutely loves the blanket. I’ve put an old double duvet cover to help protect, it’s not a perfect fit but does the job. Recently went away and didn’t take the blanket…..it was the first thing he went for on return to rest up. We are now aiming to buy a smaller version that we can take away with us in the future.
