Better than Dreft.
Effective product. Cleans well. Rinses clean. Clean scent, not perfumy, so can use it mens delicate shirts too. And it does make colored clothes retain their color & seems to preserve materials.

Woolite Damage Defense Liquid Laundry Detergent really DOES keep your clothing looking new longer — a LOT longer. I’ve used both the one for light colors AND the one for dark colors, for decades. Good product.

Good value product – alternative to dry cleaning
Works well for my cold water laundry. I use it for wool and office apparel, like my suit jackets. For me, this is an affordable alternative to dry cleaning. I wash with Woolite and then hang the garments to air dry. I do not use the machine dryer. Color and shape of my garments seem to hold up well. I have done probably 6 loads so far with this product, using my washing machine.

Leakage
I don’t know if I am the only who has had this experience or not, but if others have a problem with leakage, it is definitely an issue that needs to be addressed. I order Woolite Damage Defense Liquid Detergent, 100 Oz. When I received it the pacing box was saturated with the detergent. The top of the bottle was broken, and most of the detergent had spilled out. I contacted Amazon and the Woolite was promptly replaced. Thank you, Amazon. However, (here is where the concern lies), the second bottle was shipped in a plastic bag and had tape around the top of the container to insure against leakage. Even with taking these precautions the content had leaked out (about a cup of the product). I am very happy with the product itself, and the delivery, but it might be beneficial to research the reason the tops do not fit tightly enough to prevent LEAKAGE. It became an aggravation for me. I am still giving Woolite Damage Defense Detergent five stars and recommend it to everyone. It is a great product.

My absolute favorite for many reasons
This is my absolute favorite laundry detergent. First, the fragrance is not chemical-feeling and doesn’t upset my allergies. That’s a big deal. It’s gentle and doesn’t wreck my clothing, but it cleans clothes well. If I didn’t use this, I’d have to switch to the ones with no fragrance at all, but this fragrance is soft, lovely, gentle, never upsets my allergies.

Woolite Laundry Detergent. This is an excellent product. It’s gentle on fabric and colours stay vibrant. It removes fresh organic-based stains like ketchup or blood…just rinse the fabric in cold water, pour some of the Woolite full strength on the stain and rub vigorously. I’ve used Woolite for decades.Mar 2018 addendum: After using Woolite Everyday for the past two months to wash the new cotton jerseys I got for Christmas, I find that there aren’t any pills. Wow.
