Perfect for soup, pastas, or anything honestly! I initially ordered this so I can pack my lunch for work specifically for soups and stews but honestly this works great for anything else too. It’s microwave safe and the glass feels really sturdy. They’re a bit heavy but that’s a given since it’s glass.

We’ve been trying to replace the unhealthy plastic container and found these on line. They arrived today in perfect condition. The lids are well made with air vents and easy to put on and take off. The glass is clear and well made. They hold four cups, so great for leftover soup. I roasted a small chicken today and used two to store the leftovers; one held wing, leg, two thighs and sliced breast. The other held the half of the breast. There was some room in the container for more and I could see everything in them in the refrigerator. They can go right in the dishwasher or hand wash much more easily that greasy plastic. One star dropped because the are tapered and won’t stack as easily for storage or refrigeration. Minor issue. I used wax paper inside each one to store one inside the other and none of the stuck together! I look forward to using them and will update if there is any problem.

Perfect for freezing soups. Now the weather is getting cold I needed a good freezer container for make ahead soup meals. These containers are the BEST! Great quality for container and lids. Lids have a covered breath hole in case you don’t have time to let the food cool completely before filling containers. The mfg. included an additional lid which to me rates their customer satisfaction to a whole new level. Going to purchase more!!!!!
