Great Weighted Blanket, Especially for the Price
After much searching and reading reviews, I finally decided on this weighted blanket (20 pounds). I think this weighted blanket is a great option for the price point. I got the blanket that is supposed to fit a Queen bed. Be forewarned, the blanket just covers the top of the bed and doesn’t hang over at all. If you are looking for a larger blanket, or will be sharing with another adult, I suggest you get the King sized instead.The blanket looked just like it did in the advertisement photo. It was well made and evenly weighted. The weights are secured in place because the blanket has small pockets sewn throughout to hold everything in place.I highly recommend that you get a cover for your weighted blanket. I ended up choosing the GnO Weighted Blanket Cover in the purple minky fabric. This cover fit my blanket perfectly and even had ties to help anchor the blanket in place.I slept with the blanket and cover for the first time last night and I was very pleased. The 20lb blanket has a nice weight and did help me sleep. The best way I can describe it is that it feels like being gently cuddled.

Not true to size, otherwise it’s great
My husband and I bought this to take on vacations instead of always taking the one from our bedroom. The weight is great and it’s super soft. I’ve washed this blanket a few times and it’s held up wonderfully. My only complaint is the size, we ordered the queen size and it’s a lot shorter and just smaller in general than the size of an actual queen bed.

Amazing blanket
Update: i’ve had this blanket for a few months now, and i can’t sleep without it. it’s helped me through my worst depressive episodes, and i’m honestly in love with this. i would probably end up buying a bigger one to better cover my body because it is kinda small, but that’s ok.It’s a great blanket! Though, get one that’s a bit heavier than what’s recommended if you want to feel more like “enclosed” in it. It’s very comforting and has been helping me fall asleep faster 🙂

nice weight, need another blanket.
it mentions cooling, and it is. full weight feels so nice at night and comfortable, but i use a second blanket for the warmth. i had heard about these helping with anxiety and sleeplessness so was curious to try one and at the price, it seemed worth it. everything they say is true, i sleep better and my anxiety is kept at bay most of the time at night.if you have not tried one DO IT, just check the weight, this is a 20lb one, you may need less, my wife uses 15lbs.

Is it MAGIC?
A friend told me about this blanket. I was skeptical at first but willing to try.I don’t know what kind of science or magic there is to this blanket but I haven’t slept all night without waking up at least once in over 10 years. No exaggeration. Consecutive hours of restful sleep just doesn’t happen for me – until now.The weight is evident but it’s not overpowering when I’m under it. I think I will strengthen my arm muscles a bit when making the bed, though. It’s definitely warm but I don’t get hot. I’m in that season of life when night sweats are often a thing but I haven’t had an issue with the blanket yet. If I have one critique to share it would be that it looks a little utilitarian. It would be nice if it had a print or was available in navy or just not steel gray. That doesn’t really matter, though because I’ll purchase a duvet.Bottom line, I recommend this weighted blanket to anyone who has challenges getting consecutive hours of sleep.

It’s comfortingly heavy, and soft in a sheet or quilt way. If you’re looking for a fluffy blanket this probably won’t be the thing for you unless you buy a cover for it. It’s pretty cooling as well, so if you’re looking for warmth you’d want to add some extra layers. Quite good quality for the price.
