works and does it’s job, just beware it isn’t like sweet smelling or anything, it’s a little odd, and the packaging is a bit deceiving because the liquid is thin so it POURS out when u tilt it to use it, like it doesn’t automatically portion the amount you need or anything

Long Lasting Quality Product
I move quite often and lugging around massive jugs of half empty laundry detergent was a headache. I’ve been using Seventh Generation’s concentrated laundry detergent for years now and I not only love the scents and ingredients but appreciate the concentrated formula and smaller plastic footprint.Note: The detergent is CONCENTRATED. If your washing machine does not have a seperate spot for detergent I HIGHLY recommend adding this concentrated detergent after your machine fills with water or you may see concentrated clean spots on your clothing

Absolutely awful bottle/dispenser. I’ve taken to using more eco-friendly products over the last year and order frequently from Grove.co. Amazon had a better price and faster shipping when I came across this detergent and I was eager to try it. Now, I’m no nonsense when it comes to my products. If it doesn’t work or is too much of a hassle, I’m done. So imagine my disappointment when I tried this “easy dose” dispenser and it just leaked everywhere. I tried a full 180° rotation, one squeeze and the bottle just continued to drip and drip…Not only that but this detergent along with a lot of Seventh Generation detergents have earned a very low ratings on EWG. Basically, they’re not much better than using Tide. This is a no for me.*****EDIT**** I played around with this bottle and figured out the dispenser. The directions are definitely lacking but if you turn the bottle completely upside down and immediately squeeze, it will stop. And, it will dispense just a tablespoon or so of detergent. It cleaned pretty well and removed stinky odors and light stains. I actually like it.*****UPDATE TO MY UPDATE***** I’ve been using this detergent for almost two weeks and I’ve noticed that I’m already halfway done with the bottle 😒 I did a little experiment with a measuring spoon. Each squeeze yields an almost perfect tablespoon of detergent. If you do the math on the size of this bottle, you actually only get 47 loads MAX. If you have smaller loads you waste because you can’t put less. If you have very large loads you have to use two squeezes. This bottle is definitely only going to last through around 30-35 loads tops. Which makes it extremely expensive!

The product has obvious environmental benefits. Low plastic waste. No shipping giant jugs of mostly water. Natural ingredients.It is also fantastic to use. There is zero gummy soap build-up like you see with traditional liquid detergents. It also beats pods because there is no residue from touching the pod or fishing around in pod jar. The dispensing system is great.The scent is great and actually smells natural. It is strange after years of synthetic scents from traditional manufacturers.

I’d been using this detergent for over a decade and it was great. Good natural scent – lavender is awesome as a natural deodoriser.HOWEVER they’ve redesigned the lid for some reason, and the new lid does not work: it collects residue and gets slimy really easily; and it’s tiny – you need two capfuls for a medium load now.
