Hidden gem! I’m blown away. Made my tv better than all my others.
I am so happy now I accidentally lost my Roku remote. I set out to just buy another Roku remote, but it was cheaper just to buy this. To my surprise, this is much much more upgraded!!! I have way more channels and apps than I did before and I had a TON! No exaggeration. (And I still have cable tv which I can cancel with this. I was nervous as I wasn’t sure what I’d be limited to).Wildly, to my surprise, my picture quality has gotten even better. There’s no lagging when watching football or sports on any of the apps like I do on my more expensive TVs throughout my house (after getting rid of cable boxes & using the apps via cable. This has no issues & I don’t even need cable. Why this doesn’t lag and my expensive smart tvs do, no idea).I am literally blown away and so glad I made this purchase and it was less expensive than replacing a lost remote. Beyond beyond happy. I would suggest this over my Apple TV box honestly. That lags a little bit and the apps that come on some of the other smart TVs lag with football. I can easily change from one thing to the other with this device. I don’t know how or why but it does and I’m not complaining!!It was so easy to set up. Beyond easy to set up actually. I just plugged it in and it recognized everything and told me to press one button and boom, done.I can use it on any TV in the house. My Samsung, my Sony it doesn’t matter. The TV in my living room has way more technology, but this Roku device made my regular Amazon insignia fire TV better than my super expensive TV in the living room. When my living room TV is glitching trying to watch football I come into my bedroom and I watch football on my Roku because it doesn’t lag like all the other different apps do on those other TVs I am blown away at that fact and it’s weird, but I have a better quality picture now and I don’t know why, but I’m happy about it! I probably should get one for my main TV now that I’m thinking about this.

Great little streamer for any TV
This Roku Streaming Stick HD 2025 was extremely easy to set up and had me watching my favorite apps in just a few minutes. The HD picture looks crisp and smooth, and streaming is fast with very little buffering. The voice remote works really well for finding shows quickly, and having so much free and live TV in one place is a huge bonus. The compact stick hides neatly behind the TV and is perfect for any room or even travel. Excellent performance and value – highly recommend!

Great Streaming Device
Perfect for my parent’s TV. They needed something reasonably priced to get their Direct TV stream working on their basement TV and this works prefectly. Its easy to setup and has many features and tons of free content and live TV.

Huge improvement over previous streaming stick
I bought this during BlackFriday at an incredible price to replace an older FireTV stick because I also have a TCL Roku TV in another room, and that interface is pretty decent. This streaming stick is a breeze to set up (it can use the AC to USB power block from the FireTV device) and if you’re familiar with the user interface for Roku TV’s it’s the same. The biggest improvement/difference I noted is the response and speed of operation. The second is the picture quality for streaming channels and services. The only thing I wish it had – and I’ll have to research further – is the ability to clear cache from all apps at once, like the newer FireTV devices recently added in a software update. The internal Wifi radio/antenna is strong and connection to my router is solid and reliable. So far I’m incredibly pleased. Kudos to Roku.

Works like a charm, but the buttons are VERY sensitive!
For the most part, I’m really happy with this product. It works great for our older TV, and the response time getting into apps is pretty fast as well, which is a vast improvement from our previous TV and amazon stick (which admittedly was pretty old). Also fairly simple to install and use, so functionally and getting into apps, it works great.My ONLY complaint (and the one thing keeping me from 5 stars) is the button sensitivity. It’s like it’ll be resting on the couch and I’ll slightly move across it, bump it on the ground, or pick it up, then all of a sudden, YouTube switches to AppleTV (or one of the other apps on the controller). If they can fix that so the buttons aren’t as sensitive and won’t switch to back with a accidently brush of the button, then that would definitely sway my opinion of this.All that said, for the price, you can’t go wrong.

Tiny streaming stick with big live TV options
I bought this to turn a basic TV into a simple streaming setup without adding a lot of hardware. I wanted quick access to the apps I actually watch and a few channels without paying for a separate box. The promise of tons of free live TV and an easy-to-use interface made it appealing, and setup looked straightforward from the description.Using it is the easy part. I plugged the stick into an HDMI port, powered it from the TV’s USB, and the on-screen steps had me connected to Wi-Fi in minutes. The home screen is clean, and the voice remote makes it easy to search for shows or switch apps without hunting through menus. A single remote handles just about everything, including turning the TV on and adjusting the volume.What surprised me most is the free live TV lineup. There are more channels than I expected, and I actually find myself leaving it on for long stretches while cooking or cleaning. The option to listen with Bluetooth headphones is a nice touch when I want quiet in the evening, and it all feels flexible enough to tailor to different viewing moments.A small note: it’s HD streaming, so there’s no 4K image, and some apps can feel a touch slow to load if the Wi-Fi signal is weak. But for the price and the simplicity, it does exactly what I wanted and more. Overall, I’m happy with how compact, easy to use, and reliable this setup is.

This arrived last week and the early signs were very impressive. The streaming quality is superb here, despite me having a slow internet connection. My main complaint being that when streaming something quite lengthy, if you need to find out how much of it is still remaining, there’s no easy way to display the remaining time. And I’m finding that some streaming apps are expecting me to press buttons which simply don’t exist on Roku’s remote. I’ve contacted Roku Support (3 times) to ask if there’s an enhanced remote control unit available but they never reply. So I’m afraid I’ve downgraded my star rating.
