There is a much more expensive version out there that was out of my budget. So I gave this one a chance. It’s excellent! My husband uses it for headache and pinched nerves. It truly helps. If I’m stressed I will lay on it a few minutes and can feel my muscles relax. It was worth the money.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS and use it multiple times a week. This has been a lifesaver especially during my pregnancies when I have suffered frequent back aches and pains. I highly recommend this item. Its good quality, affordable, easy to use, easy to store when not in use, and most importantly it brings relief from muscle aches and pains in my back and neck.

This has definitely been interesting trying. And I think it’s working! I recommend not wearing too thin of a shirt until you get used to it. I haven’t reached the recommended 10 minutes yet but I do use it and I do feel like my muscles are relaxing. I recommend it.

Love my tiny mat of terror
So when people say ” it takes awhile to adjust to the mat”, they ARE NOT KIDDING. With that being said, don’t give up! I spent the first two weeks using it with the thinnest night shirt I could find. The next 2 weeks I pulled my shirt up half way, because I just couldn’t tolerate it on my upper back completely. After a month, I think I’m ready to use it . .just skin. Because, you know what? It feels great! It did become relaxing and pain free after several minutes. Before you know it, I can feel my heart beating in my back. Odd but true. I’m also a person that needs to see and use something before I ” believe it”. So, folks, I can tell you that using this mat, works. I spent 4 days stiff and just ached all over again until I realized what was different. I hadn’t used the tiny mat of terror! Once I started using it again, my stiff back and stiff neck went away. I’m convinced and use it every morning. Get it and give it a chance. It’s a small price to pay for feeling betterUPDATE: it’s now been a few months and I’m FINALLY comfortable laying bare skin on the mat of terror. And YES IT IS ACTUALLY COMFORTABLE. AS IN… NO DISCOMFORT. Trust me folks, keep at it. It’s the only thing that alleviates my chronic neck and back pain. It’s become a necessity and relaxing part of my every morning routine.

I was skeptical…
I was skeptical, but I’m also desperate. I have two degenerated discs in my low back and I’m in pain 24/7. I have pain in my neck as well. I was taking Aleve which did a great job hiding the pain until my doctor told me to stop. I did, and the pain returned (shocker, right?).I hate needles, which is why I don’t do acupuncture. And, I’m not a fan of things that simulate needles. But, I read the reviews, this was on sale for less than $20.00, and I figured why not? The worst that can happen is I use it once and it’ll sit in a box until I throw it out.I read about the people who said this takes a few days to get used to because the first day or so is just painful. Well, let me tell you something, they’re wrong. I spent 15 minutes on this the first time I used it. I was admittedly scared about how much it would hurt. It wasn’t pleasant, but it also wasn’t painful. It also took about five minutes for me to fall asleep until my alarm woke me up!I’ve now been using this just under a week. My wife says I look like I’m in a drug stupor because I’m so relaxed on it. When it is time to get off the mat, I’m dragging myself to bed and I zonk out almost immediately for the night.It hasn’t fixed my back issues, but it has reduced them a bit. What’s really changed is my neck pain, which is almost gone. I’m hoping my back will show some significant reduction in pain in the near future, but this was worth the price of admission just for my neck.I hated the idea of this… and I love my acupressure mat. On the Bottle, Bar, or Bust scale, this one takes an easy “Bottle” rating. Get it. You’ll thank yourself later. Cheers!

Use For Great Pain Relief & Thick Skin
I need to be accurate. I’m 72″, 77, with a low spine slipped disk, sleeping on a 4″ pillow top mattress.The combination reverse spinal curve from the mattress and slipped disk cause great disruption to my lower gut functions.My partner owns the bed and no other room exists for another. To alleviate my health issues I have used a toilette tissue roll under the disk which gave very short relief.seeing this set has a neck support ordered.After two hours on the neck support the pain was unbearable. I gave it that long since the disk is very stubborn to reposition.I will cut the foam down to 1/2 – 1/3rd the thickness, but the sharp points are way too much for my thin skin. They cut into the bone.The price is small so I thought the loss if not workable is low enough.On another note, humming at 100 HTz soothes my whole back. Combined with this that would make my experience better. Trouble is I find no body sound inducer on the market.That’s my 2 cents

I ordered this product to help with my lower back pain.Getting on the mat is painful. I agree with other reviews that it does take a few minutes to warm up to. After about 5 minutes, it feels amazing.What other reviewers did not mention was how painful it is getting off the mat. Once you struggle to get off, your back feels great. You will have redness and indentations for about 10 minutes. I found drinking a lot of water helpful. I’ve only been using this for two days. I received it in the mail yesterday and used it 3 times in 30 minute intervals. Today I used it on my bed rather than my floor.If you are very sensitive, you can try using it with a light t shirt on. I tried this at first but could not feel the needles at all. I can honestly say that this has made my back feel a bit better but I will definitely have to use it everyday till I’m fully heeled.Quality is good and shipping was super fast.

Somewhat painful, but makes you feel good. When using it for the first time, use a peace of cloth for the neck support. Once you get used to it, this will not be neccessary.
