Cool roller with a meaningful stone
This Keys Soulcare Obsidian Facial Roller is nicely made. It feels sturdy and has a handle that’s comfortable to hold. The obsidian is smooth and the dark black surface reflects a little light. It feels cool to the touch before use, but putting it in the fridge for a few minutes will make it even more refreshing.I found more information about why the stone was chosen in addition to its look and feel on the brand website: “Obsidian is a highly-regarded protective stone, known for its ability to block, absorb, and transform negative energy. Obsidian is believed to be a stone of clarity, with the ability to release emotional, physical, and spiritual blockages, drawing out stress and tension. Obsidian is also known for clearing ancient traumas, detoxification, and encouraging personal growth.”I also read that Dr. Renée recommends pairing the roller with the Keys Soulcare Skin Transformation Cream, so that’s how I’ve been using it. The facial massage feels great paired with a moisturizer, but you could also use it after applying serum. I do wish better instructions were given on the box, but I have used this type of product in the past so it wasn’t totally new to me. If you haven’t, I would recommend searching for an instructional article or video to make sure you’re using it the right way.

Light handle and unbalanced feel
I got this Keys Soulcare Obsidian Facial Roller because the design and color looked very elegant and sleek and I wanted a roller for rolling my face and scalp. The quality is very nice and the stone is heavy and holds heat/cold well enough to roll your whole face while maintaining the temperature you desire. The stone texture is nicely polished and smooth with a nice contoured shape. The nylon inserts and polished metal axle pins make for smooth, quiet rolling.The only real downside of this is that the handle is very lightweight giving it a cheaper feel and making it very unbalanced in your hand. It would be very easy to slip and drop with one heavy end and the straight handle and it’s very possible the stone would crack or it could damage whatever it falls onto. If you’re using any oils and your hands are slippery, this is an even bigger concern. A heavy handle would balance this out and make it feel significantly nicer and more expensive. Some rollers have a double end which would also balance out the weight, but I think a heavy handle in this case would make a huge difference.Overall I think the value is only okay with this product. It would be slightly better value if it had a more balanced weight, but the current price is on the high end for this type of product so I would expect a premium quality. That’s the one aspect that would probably steer me away from giving this as a gift. It works perfectly well and is a nice roller otherwise, but should be a bit nicer at this price point.

Disappointed!!!
Purchased Feb 8th, 2025 and it broke March 30th, 2025. Not even a whole 2 months and it Broke! Here i thought I found the holy grail of face rollers. I can’t return it because my return window closed. So disappointed!
