Awesome Brush-On Sunscreen!
I found this sunscreen in an article about easy to apply sunscreens that were specifically mineral based & decided to give it a try. I’m really happy I did! Initially I thought this was a small amount of powder for what I paid but a little goes a long way. Upon taking it out of the package I thought okay how does this work? Thankfully there’s clear directions on the side of the box which work perfectly. I’ve attached pictures of the brush & directions which I hope are helpful. I use Neurtogena mineral zinc 50SPF sunscreen which is fabulous for my oily, sensitive skin. On a day I have make up on I don’t like to reapply sunscreen lotion. I’ve found it totally messes with my makeup application. That’s where this Hawaiian Tropic Mineral Translucent Powder comes in. It works fabulously! It blends in well & gives provides a sheer look. This has provided me total sun protection. I’ve never burned. It’s also nice because it allows me to get up to my hairline & on my ears easily. With the translucent shade it’s barely noticeable. I have fair skin. I do use translucent powder in my makeup regime. This was well worth what I paid. I did take advantage of Amazon’s subscribe & save program which allowed me to save a little extra $. For me this is a keeper & I’ll purchase again! I do recommend!

Prevents scalp burns without looking greasy or dusty.
I great REALLY bad scalp burns, and this is really helpful for dusting your part, temples without making you look greasy or dusty. I find it’s good to do a a few extra parts and dusting those, and then getting back to your normal part to get extra coverage, too!

Good for travel and reapplying over makeup
Bought this sunscreen for my trip to Europe so I could reapply my face sunscreen without ruining my makeup. I absolutely loved it and it felt like nothing was going on my skin! The only problem was I couldn’t tell if the powder was actually getting on my skin or not. I think it worked, but I wish I could tell if it was actually applying. Great smell! Also is perfect size for travel

Light and easy to wear
Some mineral powder sunscreens make me itchy, this one did not. It is light and didn’t weigh down my skin or clog pores. It went right over my makeup like a setting powder but feels fine to wear with no make up as well. It’s completely colorless so it’s hard to tell how much you have on. I was worried about it being blotchy but I did not have any issues once I went out in the sun. It fits great in my purse and I can reapply it all day long. Nice scent, although I think I would have preferred it to have none. One thing I really like is that I can put it in my hair along parts to prevent my scalp from burning. Much preferred to any sort of spray on for my face and scalp.

Good when the device works
I had to switch to a different product because I kept having defective device issues. The cap would keep falling apart in my bag and the push down functionality seemed to not always work. It became very difficult to get the product out after a handful of uses. I also worry that I’m not able to clean the brush effectively so that it’s not harboring long term bacteria, but that’s more an issue with these types of products than this specific one.

I have super-fair skin that burns within minutes, so i’ve tried a hundred different sunscreens. And of all the powder-type sunscreens i’ve tried, this is the best yet, hands-down.It goes on light as air with a soft matte finish — so it’s actually great as a setting powder over makeup. I also love how easy it is to reapply during the day.Another big plus is that it doesn’t have any yucky additives to make it waterproof. For me this is a huge plus because i can use it on my part line without any weird clumping or color changes like some other sunscreen powders i’ve tried.The brush is also SUPER soft and dispenses about the right amount of powder for my face, hands and forearms.There is a very light scent, but it dissipates almost immediately. And it costs about a third of other brands!Really glad i took a chance and bought this product.

Fell apart immediately
The product itself was great, but the tube broke apart the first time I used it. Had to put the sunscreen in a new container. Works fine.
