Air holes are a must
It has just the right height so you can breathe comfortably without feeling smothered, and I really appreciate the air holes on the sides—something a lot of massage chairs don’t even account for. The design is solid and supportive without forcing your neck into an awkward arch. You can also add a pillow under your belly for extra lift if needed. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase—no regrets at all.

Digs into the throat difficult to breathe
Pillow is great to hold face up but also digs into throat and is uncomfortable to breath. I have EDS, and it is incredibly difficult to get comfortable laying down to sleep. My back, shoulders and hips prefer when I sleep on my Stomach but then my neck gets wrenched and pinched flipping back and forth all night. So I was hoping this pillow would help, nope! It digs into the trachea and hurts my throat making it difficult to breathe. I push it off to the side and prefer to sleep without a pillow rather than to use this. Too bad it’s a personal use product so once you open it you can’t return it. Maybe I can use it as a butt donut if I get hemorrhoids?

I ordered this because my husband is about to have neck surgery so side and back sleeping won’t be comfortable for a few days. While some may prefer a leather surface to sanitize, I prefer this. It is t shirt feel that can be washed. Fits his face and mine. So soft and cozy face pillow. He’ll be able to breathe with the many outlets. It has strong foam that didn’t crush or soften. When he’s done with it I’m going to steal for naps at my desk!!
