Quality notebooks useful for many functions – highly recommended
I ordered these Comix notebooks in assorted colors of blue, tan, and black. At my job, we no longer are provided notebooks, so these will come in handy. In fact, now that I’ve seen these, I wish I had always used these type for my job over the years as these will be great for historical purposes. I’ve saved all my notebooks over 30 years, but they all have been a cheap spiral bound type with cardboard covers. These Comix notebooks can be used for many different purposes: work, notetaking in school classes with a different notebook for each subject, journals, record-keeping, etc. They arrived tightly packed and wrapped in cellophane. They did not have the paper band wrapped around the bottom as shown in the listing, but that’s no problem unless perhaps you wanted to give these as individual gifts so wanted a label on each. The covers are a hard cover, not a soft flexible cover — they are a kind of plastic similar to the covering of 3-ring binders, which is waterproof and durable. On the front inside cover, there is a section where you can identify what the notebook is for, such as a particular subject or a table of contents. On the back inside cover is a section where you can put your contact info in case you should lose the notebook and hope for someone to return it to you. The back inside cover also has a pocket in which you can insert various loose items or notes. The notebooks have a color-matched grosgrain bookmark as well as elastic band of the same grosgrain material which you can use to keep the notebook closed or as another bookmark. The individual pages each have a heading where you can circle the day of the week and write in the date. Interestingly there are 3 weather symbols where you can identify the weather as well: sunny, partly sunny/cloudy, rain. The pages are perhaps on the thin side, which can be elegant, but hopefully are still thick enough that you wouldn’t see the writing come through on the other side of the page or have bleed-through if using a felt or gel type ink. At the time of this review, the 3-pack is a great deal as you basically are getting one free or each at a 5-dollar discount. If I had any suggestion for improvement, it might be to have the print on the inside covers a little darker (but the lighter understated printing on each page is nice). It would nice too to offer more colors, sizes, and multi-packs of 4 or 5 perhaps. I am very impressed by these notebooks, as I have been with other Comix products — highly recommended.

The journaler in your life will love these
I LOVE these. They are set up very nicely and you can organize you organization right on thr top of thr page. These feels great quality and not thr flimsy feel from thr walmart cheapies. They look great and the paper is a good weight heavier than most note book papers.

Bleed through from gel pen
It’s a good quality product, but the paper is a little thinner than I had hoped for. My Pentel Pilot gel pen shows through. In the video you can see this.

Simple with some added touches! Smooth surface and true to color
These are overall nice journals with some cool added features. The page having a place to circle the weather for the day, the little pocket in the back for keepsakes, the built in bookmark, and attacked fabric band are very nice.Unfortunately mine all arrived with a damaged corner. I’m not sure if the blame would be weak cardboard covers or poor packaging. Maybe a little bit of both. The cover is smooth and the colors are true. I would consider the line spacing somewhere between wide ruled and college ruled. I think they would make a good gift for the avid journal writer. They are smaller than printer size paper and smaller than a standard size notebook. They are a great size. The pages are slightly thinner than high quality printer paper.Overall: looking for something with simplicity and some added perks, these are the journals for you. If you area looking for something a bit more upscale. You might want to go with leather bound

Nice Quality!
I ordered these lined journal notebooks for my businesses. I create designs and I need to keep the instructions on how to make the project in a book. Keeping things on random pieces of paper is a disaster. These journals are the perfect size and very nice quality. What I really like is that when you open them they lay pretty flat which makes them much easier to write and draw on. The paper is nice quality and even has a place for the date on top and little boxes for the weather. There is an expanding envelope in the back which is perfect for storing pictures or notes for my designs. There is a ribbon marker so you can mark where you are in the book and not have to flip through to find your place. There is also an elastic band to go around the journal and keep it closed. I am very happy with these journals and they will get a lot of use from me.

Love These
These notebooks are awesome! I love the colors and they are very well made. I love that. It has an elastic man to keep it closed and on the inside, not only does it have a place for notes but at the top it has the days of the week that you can circle, and it has a date area. These aren’t legal size or 8 x 11 they’re just under that. For me they’re perfectly sized! I can keep it in my purse, and my husband loves them for the notes that he has to take at work. They’re also a great gift!

Works well for office use
I use different notebooks for projects. So a 3 pack is convenient, the paper is smooth and works fine with my black ink pen, I like that each notebook has a bookmark ribbon and an elastic strap so it stays closed in my bag. The B5 size is larger than A5, which gives more writing space, especially for meeting notes. After a few days of opening and closing, the spine still feels sturdy. Colors are neutral and suitable for work.

Professional looking journals for work meetings
These are fantastic, very professional journals. The cover is a soft feel, the spine opens up nicely making it easy to write inside, lots of pages, and just a great look to take into meetings. I’m one of those old fashioned note takers – if I write it down, I remember it. My colleagues take notes on their tablets and I find it distracting in meetings that they are on their electronic device and not focused on the speaker. By physically writing I can stay engaged in the discussion while writing down critical points. These books are so much better than the spiral notebook I have been using!!
