Great ice pack
This is the way to ice. BIG and gets the job done.My PT recommended this. I do fold it in half ( store in zip lock bag ) because of freezer space.

This ice pack saves the day!
I found out that I have two vertebrae that are pinching my nerves. The pain is quite bad so I needed a way to numb the pain. Literally numb it because of the ice cold. This ice pack saves the day. It’s big enough that I can lie on it and cover my spine, my lower back and my glutes. However, it’s really heavy and takes up a lot of room in the freezer because you are not to bend it. It works beautifully!

Reusable, Sturdy, and Super Cold
This gel ice pack is exactly what I needed! The size (10″ x 13.5″) is perfect for covering larger areas like my knee, back, or shoulder. It gets super cold and holds the temperature well. I like that it’s reusable and durable with the black polyurethane cover—it feels sturdy and long-lasting.It does get very cold, so I place a thin towel between my skin and the pack for comfort. Easy to use, effective, and a great value. I’m so glad I purchased this!

Solid ice pack; a bit pricey
Pretty good cold pack that can be reused. I personally use it for aches and pains to help ice down and it seems to last a good 20-25 minutes before loosing the cooling effect from the freezer. I will say that it takes a while to refreeze and get cold again so it’s probably best to have 2 if you need to ice multiple areas. It’s a bit on the pricey end and you can definitely get away with just using ice and a freezer bag but this makes it a lot more convenient.

This cold pack stays flexible so it can be formed to fit around a leg, or arm, and is big enough to use for your back…..I blew out my knee a year ago and my therapist used this cold pack on my knee, I used one of those little ones u get in the drug store and it just didnt do the job. So my G/F purchased one of these online and it was exactly what I needed. I can wrap it around my knee with ease, and the sheer weight of it keeps it in contact with the affected area. It came in extremely handy after I had my first knee surgery also.Just a few weeks I ago visited my mom and dad, and found out my father hurt his back and was in some severe pain. So my girlfriend and I drove home after dinner with my parents, grabbed the cool pack out of our freezer and gave it to my dad. The size of the pack worked perfect for his back, and he improved much faster than he thought he would. Of course I told them to keep it, and I had another one.Of course I didnt have 2 of these so I immediately ordered one from amazon that same night. It showed up 1 day before I was scheduled for another knee surgery. As before this thing has made recovery much better. I will be starting physical therapy again this week, and it is very reassuring to know I have this cold pack on hand!Granted it is the “oversize” model but when its in your freezer, and laid out straight (do not make sharp bends in it) it really makes a small footprint.As for a cover, I use a pillow case (the size is perfect) and so do the therapists………..In a pinch I can use a clean dish towel. Remember to check with your doctor/therapist for proper use, most suggest 20-30 minutes at a time in order to not damage any nerves.Another use I have found for it is to chill guacamole! No joke, we have an avocado farm near us and we get perfect cados! But no matter where u get em they are not cold, and I dont like warm guacamole. I heard that refrigerating may increase the browning of them though. So, I take a large plastic bowl and put it in the freezer along with my cold pack and turn up the freezer for 10 minutes….While this is going on I cut and skin the cados. When that is done I take out my cold pack, set it flat on the counter (sometimes prop 1 side up against the bowl too) and make my guacamole…..The good stuff comes out perfect! Green, tasty, cold, and no browning! Yes I add a bit of lemon to keep it from browning longer too, but with the cold pack and the cold bowl I dont have to cover and refrigerate the guac for a little while if I want seconds for my taquitos and such.Give it a try! This way even when u are not injured, you can make your cold pack pay for itself!I would highly recommend this product!

This size is bigger than I planned
I have had other ColPacs and they last well, and do the job. In preparation for shoulder surgery I bought these. I should’ve measured more carefully because they are really huge, and by the nature of the item that makes them heavier than I wanted on my just cut-open shoulder. This size would be great for back sprains, even shoulder sprains. It was just too heavy for after surgery in my opinion. As I said, though, I’ve had others and these do the job, and they last well. Great product.

El material con el que está relleno no es gel por lo cual al sacarlo del refrigerador el material es muy frío pero no congelado. Lo anterior permite doblarlo y adaptarlo al cuerpo. La marca también la utilizan en el centro de rehabilitación y me dijeron que son de alta duración. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Great cold packs. My wife is using them several times a day for a back problem. Great cold retention, and flexibility. And no leakage. I have also made use of them due to stupidly moving a heavy wash machine at 86. Must remember to ask for help next time.
