So I got my hands on the WiMiUS P62 Pro projector, and seriously, this thing is a game-changer for a home theater setup.I used the videos and photos I took to test out all the key features, and here’s the lowdown:The Smart Stuff: Built-in Streaming & Picture QualityThis is the best part: it has official, built-in Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video. You don’t need a separate stick, which is huge! Logging into my accounts was super quick and easy.I threw up some nature videos (those marine life clips) and even with some ambient lights on, the picture was bright, and the colors looked incredibly vivid. Those deep blues and bright neon colors really popped! It’s got 800 ANSI Lumens, which is why it can handle a little light and still give you a great image.The projector handles all the annoying setup stuff for you. Just turn it on and watch it work:• Auto Focus & Auto Keystone: The image instantly gets sharp and perfectly rectangular. No fiddling!• Smart Obstacle Avoidance: If you have a plug or a picture on the wall, it actually shrinks and moves the picture so it doesn’t project over the object. So smart.The audio is great for a projector. It features Dolby Audio, and the internal speakers are clear and punchy enough for casual viewing.• Two-Way Bluetooth: This is another favorite feature. You can easily connect it to a big Bluetooth speaker for movie-level sound, OR you can flip it around and connect your phone to the projector to use the P62 Pro as a large Bluetooth speaker.• Connectivity: It’s loaded with ports: two HDMI and two USB ports. You can plug in your console, laptop, or flash drive all at once.This is a fantastic projector. The official streaming apps and the powerful 800 ANSI brightness make it a winner. Combined with the AI auto-setup features and great two-way Bluetooth sound, the WiMiUS P62 Pro is an amazing upgrade that makes movie night super easy.

YOUR OWN PERSONAL MOVIE THEATER IN YOUR LIVING ROOM!
I got the the WIMIUS P62 projector a few months ago (09/2025). It turned my living room into a movie theater all by itself. Our kids are obsessed. Here’s the setup: Find a place in your living room 7-12 feet away from a wall, about five feet high, and put the projector there. Plug it in. Connect it to your WiFi. Done. An aside: the instructions say 6.5 – 12 feet, but my living room didn’t have that option, so I tried about 14 feet and, as you can see below, it’s great, crystal clear, and huge.It autofocuses all on its own, which is extremely helpful. If you disagree for some reason, you can manually focus it with some clicks on your remote. If you need to adjust the projection up a little, there’s a little screw underneath the projector. Twist it to make it aim higher. It’s pre-loaded with Netflix and YouTube, so we were watching shows about 7 minutes after I unboxed this projector. You can download additional apps, such as Disney+, Plex, and Amazon Prime in their AppStore. Using Disney+ is a little weird, though. You only have the option of moving around a pointer, which is more cumbersome than scrolling through icons. It’s not a deal breaker, but it’s something to be aware of. I have a Plex account as well, and the app doesn’t show up in the “My App” section—it stays in the “App store” section even after you download it and log in. But it works flawlessly and its user interface is normal unlike Disney+.The projector has 800 ANSI lumens, two brightness modes, and allows for two HDMI and two USB inputs. I last had a projector in 2008 and wow, this is waaaaay better. Its Dolby sound is good—best I’ve heard on a projector, and its sufficient for my family’s needs. If you want to upgrade your sound even more, you can wirelessly connect a soundbar/system to it through HDMI ARC on the first HDMI input.One of the handiest features of this projector is that it comes with buttons on top of it. We’re a family of five, and all our kids are under 9. Remotes get lost, or broken, because kids do what kids do. So having that option is essential to me. A lot of TVs and projectors have opted to forgo physical buttons, so I’m glad this one did not.I took some pictures below to give you a sense of what you’re getting. You’ll see there’s a picture of the box, then all the parts, and then some other pictures of what it looks like. You’ll see that I, a Gator, got to watch my Gators get smashed, but in gorgeous, glorious color. I got to see close-up just how bad this team is this year…And, you’ll see two pics that show the two different brightness levels. These pics were taken on a mostly sunny Florida afternoon, in my house, which is full of windows. It‘s not much of a difference between the “brightest” setting and the “standard” setting, but the brightest is still a bit clearer and crisper during the day. After the sun goes to bed there’s no need to use the brightest setting. Pretty good, yeah?There have been a couple times in the past month where it inexplicably did not recognize our wifi. To fix this, I unplugged it, and then plugged it right back in. And it immediately worked again. I’ve never had any real issues with it.All in all, 5 stars :). There’s always little things with any new technology, but this thing delivers consistently and reliably a quality picture that is breathtaking in my own living room. Those quirks don’t distract from the overall awesomeness that is this projector. They’re just things you should know before you click buy :). I’ll follow up if anything goes wrong, but if you don’t see any follow up, it’s all good!

Compré este proyector guiado sólo por las buenas reseñas, ya que no conocía la marca en absoluto, y realmente estoy muy contento con la elección. Por el precio que tiene, es un aparato que tiene muy buenas prestaciones y conectividad.Los aspectos más destacables para mí son:- Buena luminosidad (aunque, por supuesto, lo ideal es proyectar en completa oscuridad).- Ventilador silencioso (apenas se oye y mucho menos viendo una película).- Zoom inverso (para poder ajustar bien el tamaño de la imagen a la pantalla).- Autoenfoque (realmente no hace falta el ajuste manual, aunque también lo trae).- Corrección trapezoidal (para encajar perfectamente las cuatro esquinas de la imagen en la pantalla en caso de que el proyector no esté perpendicular y perfectamente alineado con la pantalla).Por último, quiero hacer mención de su servicio postventa, ya que tuve un problema con mi aparato y les envié un mail. El servicio técnico me respondió inmediatamente y me ayudó excepcionalmente. Incluso me sorprendió que me respondieran en castellano.
