Pretty pan, kinda pricey
The Jovire 10.25 Inch Ceramic Nonstick Frying Pan Skillet is a beautiful looking pan. The cream colored ceramic coating looks clean and works great. So far, the ceramic coating remains pristine and looks good – there is no discoloration so far. The nonstick coating works really well, requiring very little oil. Of course with nonstick pans, the real test will be how long the coating lasts. So far, I’m quite pleased. The handle has a nice heft and fits well in the hand. It is satisfying to hold. All in all, this is a good 10 inch frying pan. Time will tell how well it holds up over time. The only real complaint I have for now is the price. $34 for a 10 inch frying pan is not necessarily a value.

Quality Product, but overpriced for features
This feels a little overpriced for what it is. Now don’t get me wrong, the ceramic nonstick coating is fantastic and I almost don’t need oil for some stuff, but it is asking $35 for a 10″ pan without a lid or handle (besides the long stick handle). I appreciate the premium materials but it is still almost 2lbs so 2 handles would’ve made it way easier to lift ito the fridge or too the table after cooking is finished. I do appreciate the steel bottom though, b/c I know the ceramic coating will stain black after cooking w/ it for a while and I can go to town on the steel bottom w/ steel wool sponges. The coating will wear off sooner or later, so longevity is still in question. For those unaware, most ceramic coated pans aren’t actually made from real ceramic. That stuff has been used for 1000s of years and is safe. This is called ceramic b/c the coating’s finish and color resemble ceramic. Who knows what it’s made of? This is their secret sauce so they won’t tell. The listing does claim the coating is not PFAS (“forever chemicals”), but who knows if we will discover that the coating has a PFAT “eternal chemical” in the future? That’s why the pan gotta go when the coating starts chipping or flaking into the food, which affects the longevity of the pan.Overall, overpriced for what it is: a quality ceramic coated nonstick pan, but a pan w/o a lid or 2 handles. If they knocked $10 off, it would be more justified. I just checked on amazon and you can get 3 ceramic pans for $10-15 more or even a whole cookware set from equally reputable brands.

On first use the pan burned, leaving black stain marks. I cooked two eggs with butter on 7 (10 being the highest setting). The reason I purchased the pan is that it suggested that it was resistant to that. I gave 2 stars because it is actually well made and sturdy.
